Thank you so very much to everyone that joined us on Friday the 23rd September in the g Hotel for our annual Fashion Fundraiser 'Sparkle at the g' in aid of Tomorrow For Tomas. The event was a huge success and we are overwhelmed with the support and generosity.
Our son Tomás, is 6 and a half years old boy and has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Born at 26 weeks he and his twin arrived unexpectedly into the world. Sadly his brother Seán passed away after 30 days. Tomás is a bright, chatty boy but has no independent movement. As Tomás will require life-long supports and very costly equipment your donations are deeply appreciated.
A total of €13,230 was raised this year and the funds are being used so that the family home can be adapted for Tomás’ living and care needs, as well as ensuring safe and easy access about the house and garden on his new wheels!
'Sparkle at the g' starting with a Prosecco Reception sponsored by Colm Quinn BMW at 7 pm in the marvellous company of the Guinness Jazz Band. The Connacht Rugby Squad were also sparkling as they welcomed everyone and posed for photo's with our glamorous guests.
The stunning models from Catwalk Modelling Agency delivered yet another exciting night of exquisite fashion and style. A big thank you to Bellissimo Galway for sponsoring hair and make-up for the fashion show. With an array of local boutiques (view HERE) showcasing their Autumn/Winter 2016 collection every fashionista was in their element. Award Winning Milliner Suzie Mahony also showcased her latest designs with Designer Colin Burke closing the show with his fashion-forward creations.
The beautiful sweet sounds of Bel Canto filled the room during the interval at which point guests got to browse the stands including Aran Acupuncture, Loopy Lou Entertainer, Yvonne Sweeney Auctioneer and Desert Diamonds IRELAND. And with a raffle prize fund of over €5,000 to be won it really was a night to remember for all the lucky winners.
